Hey everyone. First post here.
I've run into an issue with a crashed SATA drive (keeps BSOD-ing me) in the company-issued laptop. They've got another drive enroute, but I'll most likely never see this drive or the data on it ever again. Drive's got PointSec on it, so I can't try any Live CD (Knoppix) or repair installs. However, word is if I can slave this drive off another SATA drive with PointSec on it, that I can log into my drive and recover my data. I'd like to try that.
This leads me to my question: is it possible to slave my SATA drive if it's in an external enclosure (tethered to another PointSec-enabled laptop via USB)?
