My 160GB HD is partitioned into two 80's. I have an Acer and drive one is labeled ACER (C:) evrything I have downloaded/installed has gone onto drive C:....its getting full. Do I just move stuff to DATA(D:) or will stuff automatically go over there???

move stuff like photos, music, videos, downloads, etc. nothing you have shortcuts to, otherwise youll have to make new ones.

Nope. You cannot up and move installed programs from one partition to another because of the registry entries. If you want your programs on the other part, your best bet would be to uninstall them from the old partition then reinstall them to the DATA (D) drive.

thanks for the help people.....i feel alot better now.....didnt want to have to dig myself out of another crash.....already had to one time cause i tried one of those registry fix software things.....all good now!!!:)
