Sickly computer?

My desktop all in one is ill and I would love any advice or solutions to the problem.
Everytime I switch it on, it stays on the welcome screen, just loading forever.
The computer is an HP touchsmart 520 with windows 7.

Could you be more detailed? Does it eventually boot to the desktop after a while?

Hey yeeouch,

Have you tried anything as far as troubleshooting the computer?
You could attempt to boot into Safe Mode by tapping the F8 key after you turn on your computer.

See if that works, and we can diagnose the problem from there.

Turn it on right before you go to bed and let it run. I've seen Windows get stuck before and when I left it on for hours, it eventually got un-stuck. Worth a shot.
