Default Shutting Down True Vector

i am trying to install zone alarm but it is sayin i need to shut down true vector they restart install program.How do i do this?

go to your start menu, click on run, type in msconfig and check under the services tab or the start up tab and if it's there uncheck it then restart your computer. Just remember to check it back once your done.

While you're at it, to improve overall system performance, disable the BITS, or, Background Intelligence Technical something program. It's a useless service, so get rid of it.
