Default Should you have to pay for Word Perfect?

I just got a new computer and it's saying that after 60's of trial im going to have to pay for it if I want to use it more... shouldn't it come free on my computer? I mean you need typing systems on your computer.

Use OpenOffice then, its free, and has all the features that you would need...

I'm afraid that you do have a typing program on your computer, actually two. Wordpad and Notepad. They just are terrible. I've never used Openoffice but I've heard it is pretty good.
