What do you mean if it will work with Linux?

Linux is an OS and has driver support for devices like a mouse, keyboard and depending on your system has a sound driver your sound will work.

he's probably wondering if all the functions on that keyboard will work.
my instincts tell me no, they will not. I have a microsoft keyboard that linux doesn't support all of it's functions. like the volume control and internet navigation functions.

As Verbatim47 said all mice and keyboards work. It is just a matter of whether the all the keys will work as serpentracer stated. I would recommend that you do a little research and find out if anyone else has used them. I am sure that you aren't the first one to use them with linux. Also, what distro do you want to use them with?

Cheers!

I used to have a wireless microsoft keyboard like this one:

In ubuntu all the buttons worked but I just had to go program the hotkeys manually. You should see if anyone has tried your keyboard though.
