Just fitted my Arctic Cooler 7 Pro to my processor, and the load temperatures are 18-20 *c cooler then the stock intel cooler (50-52*c)! Every test I saw of the AC7pro said it cooled between 8-10*c more then the stock cooler. Have I got lucky or did I make do a bad job of fitting the intel cooler.

Either way, im so relieved. It means i can turn my overclock back up now...

Ive turned my overclock back up to 3gz and the temperature is still only 55*c! Thats about 25*c cooler then the stock fan. This is so amazing!!!

well my guess would be thats the way its supposed to be, i dont own one, but going from a crappy oem heatsink up to the heatpipes and a huge heatsink would make a rather large difference, i just might have to get a couple of those for my pc's :)

yh that sounds right.

dnt underestimate that cooler it can compete with the big bois out there,

IMO the best price / cooling ratio out there

Just checked the fan speed. Its doing 1100rpm (its max is 2500rpm). Its not even breaking a sweat!

Yeah, no surprise why Custom PC uses it to overclock dual cores.

i have the same cooler it works great even though my mb does not support over clocking the i love it but it is sorta loud to me.
