I feel for those that are hesitant, wait until SP1 comes out. By that time, everything should work out with very little compatibility issues.

Umm...okay. No need to put caps on the first letter of every word. I'm pretty sure we can read it.

i keep reading about vista being slow on peoples pc's but i thought this was the whole idea for it to be a lot faster in conjunction with the 64 bit cpu's so it runs twice as fast as the regular 32 bit cpu

The DRM in vista alone is enough to ward me off.

Nice, you have to forfeit your XP license.

http://www.neowin.net/index.php?act=view&id=37734
People getting screwed.

http://www.neowin.net/index.php?act=view&id=37736
IMO the ONLY things that make vista even slightly better.

http://digg.com/software/Vista_DRM_Cracked
If their gonna shove DRM up the OS's ass, they should atleast make it secure.

I think it's utterly retarded that you have to 'upgrade' from XP and forfeit your XP license. I want to do a triple boot between XP, Vista AND linux.. but apparently that requires a little bit of hacking now.. afterall.. M$ hates linux... so bad in fact that they don't want to let the 'consumer' decide..

I would avoid buying vista with every fiber of my being. It would be against who I am to even consider buying a Microsoft operating system.
