Should I buy that for my ASUS A8N SLI DELUX mobo with amd 4400x2 and 7800gtx oc? or will the gold be better

They're ok, but I would go with the Geil One series. Has faster timings than that OCZ Platinum @ DDR 500MHz CAS 2-2-2-5. For the numbers on the OCZ, it's pretty good considering it's 2gigs and the price is excellent.

it would probably be better going for 2 x 1gb ram, that way you can access both at the same time meaning it would be faster. i think only some motherboards support this though.
