No errors are showing in any tests.
I ran memtest overnight and did the WD hdd test about 5 times.

Um, it should be somewhere in the BIOS. It's usualy in a section something like temp monitors or something.

its under the first screen you get once you go into bios im using an asus also

At this point, I would just say it's some sort of software error, throw in a different hard drive and attempt to install your OS on it to see if it works.

I would use a boot CD to back up all data off of the drive and then just reinstall the OS.

Yeah I was thinking software error too. The thing is this crappy dell only has 1 SATA slot/port whatever and I don't even have any spare drives. I'll order one soon. Might as well order a whole new set of parts and get a decent system and make a media center out of this one.

That'd be cool, though if you have 1080p I would consider a slightly more powerful graphics card.
