Default Sharing files on a home network

I created a home network between two of my home computers. If I go to my network places and click the 'view workgroup computers' i can see both the computers in the network.

However when I right click a folder on one computer and set it to allow for sharing; it does not show up on the other computer under My network places.

And yes when I setup the home network i set it to allow for printer and file sharing.

There are only 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who can read binary, and those who can't.

When you look for the shared folder are you navigating via Entire Network > other pc > folder?

Have you rebooted after sharing the folder?

Assuming XP on both pc's, have you run the network wizard on both?

Yes i run the network wizard on all of them. And to browse for the network folders I click "My network places" under my computer in the left-hand tab.
