Shared Video

So I am planning to buy a laptop but i have a question to ask the one i am looking at has has ati mobility Radeon 9000 IGP 128 MB(Shared)
I understand the the 128MB is going to be coming from my ram but i was wondering what the comparision would be compared to a video card that is 64MB (dedicated) lets just say its a radeon too... also the computer would have 1024MB of ram

It all really depends on the card itself. Just as with the computer, RAM doesn't have nearly as much as an impact on the performace as does the processor.

I doubt you'd see any real difference in performace(assuming they are identical cards) just maybe less compatability for newer games with the 64M version.
