Default setup did not find any hard disks drives installed on this computer

ok..i fixed the problem so i can get into BIOS but the hard drive is still saying bootmgr is missing..and when i try to load a installation cd i get this..
setup did not find any hard disks drives installed on this computer...

what do i do?

you might need to check the power and SATA concector. MY sata broke off right when i got it. nothing a little bit of super glue could fix.

lol....actually its because i was trying to partition the HDD and when i did it i clicked something and rebooted so its messed up now..and i dont know what to do..

what should i do?

Go to the drive manufacturer's website and download their setup utility. That should allow you to format and initialize the drive to get it ready for the OS installation.
