Default which setup is better?

a setup with a Quad core?
or a setup with 2 Dual cores?

just out of curiosity.

i would say quad core because games are eventually gonna have to use all 4 quads. they also can be overclocked extremely high. I say get a Q6600 with the XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler and overclock it to 3 GHz for the time being for the best Performance>Money PC
