Default Servers

Hey guys. A question... I know in the Gallery Joxley has a laptop next to his desktop, and he said that the laptop had Windows 2000 Advanced Server on it. What does that OS or whatever really matter? I don't understand why so many people have these servers? And do you need a lot of space for them?

The only thing I can think of is like game servers maybe? Just wondering... Thanks Smile

Default Re: Servers

I know you can share stuff like games and media and stuff, on the intranet and stuff.
So could I just use that on my laptop which has a 30BG or 40GB HDD? And Intranet meaning like your local network?

And Intranet FTP Access, that means I can host my own files and access them on any computer anywhere?

Where do I buy it? If so, or if I don't, where could I get it/how much?
