Default Serial ATA problem

I think that the problem i'm having with a slow system is related to my SATA config.

AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego 1GHz FSB Socket 939 Processor

PLEXTOR Black IDE DVD Burner Model PX-740A/SW-BL

eVGA 256-P2-N515-AX Geforce 7800GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16

2x Western Digital 160GB 7200 RPM Serial ATA150

RAIDMAX Ninja ATX-918WBP Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 450watts PS2 ATX12V SATA Ready Power Supply

4x Crucial 512MB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200)

I know the computer shouldn't run slowly, but I can't get anything to operate properly, and i'd like to run raid 0.
