Smile Serail Port help

A Seiral Port transmits One Bit at a time untill the whole Byte gets to the Device.

But what is the Transfer Speed??

that would depend on the bit rate that's set up at the start of the transmission during the handshake procedure.

for example if the bit rate is set at 110 bits per second (the minimum setting in hyperterminal) then it'll take 0.07 seconds


if the bit rate is set at 921600 bits per second (the maximum setting in hyperterminal) then it'll take 0.00000868 seconds
