I had been jacked a while back and had to reformat and start over. In the process I lost a program that I used every day but really didn't want to have to look all over creation for again.(yeah yeah it was backed up but I had loaned out my cd and just a couple days ago got it back.) I asked a friend if he had it and he sent it to yousendit. The yousendit system sent me a e-mail and I downloaded it that night while zonked out in the rack.
This is got to be one of the better sites on the web in a while. And um a tip of the ol hat to my friend. You know who you are...
Oh by the way it was a free program he sent me. I was just being lazy about looking for it again.

And the yousendit site is free to use. No charges.

Isnt that basically uploading and downloading off of an ftp? Why not just use ftp?
