oops. i guess i was just ranting on about server os's and not home server in question. oops lol
it can be used as a domain controller though according to google. some slight tweaking needed.

hmmmmm
all of this talking about a home server
gets me thinking about making a server dedicated to digital media
pics, vids (that includes full length movies) and an unimagineable music library
maybe you could even get audio books
and save entire books to the server as well
hmmmmmm
that would be very useful

hmmmm *smirk* it would be pretty cool if somebody was willing to dedicate their home server for computer forums use! So then, computer forums members could post pics and vids and stuff like that.

By the way I doubt that would ever happen, but it would be cool

ive got some top notch hosting i could host stuff on, but i know the idea would never happpen.

and i wouldnt say its cracking lol
just a minor few tweaks. just like getting MCE 2005 to join a domain.
