Default Select VOB files are weird...

Ok, so I've been trying to rip a DVD onto my computer. I get all the VOB's fine, and some are in different languages (but I take care of that by removing the non-english tracks). I just change the extension on them, to .mpg, and most of them work. However, every time there is one or more VOB files that can't play in a media player aside from VLC Player, and in movie maker it's seen as 26 hours. Any ideas why this is happening?

A VOB is an MPEG2, right? try changing the extention to .mpeg2 instead. It might be trying to use a different codec (i.e. the MPEG4 codec)

right now, transformers. I've been trying to make a music video, but those few files prevented me from doing it. The best scenes somehow ended up in the ones that won't convert...

then we can't help you. It's against forum rules to break copyright.
