Hey Guys,
I am looking to install a secondary graphics card so that I can connect my 55" Samsung TV to my computer without having to change Nvidia settings each time I want to use it (can only actively support 2 monitors on 560Ti.) I considered just having it clone my 2nd display, but due to it being a TV, it requires some custom settings to make the image fit the TV properly.
With that said, I am looking for some recommendations for a secondary graphics card. I haven't really been keeping up with graphics cards, especially the low end models, so I am hoping someone here could help.
These are my requirements:
-Nvidia based
-single expansion slot
-PCI-E X1 or X8/16
-Smoothly displays HD video
Not required but preferred:
-Passive cooling
-power effecient
-low cost
TL;DR: I want a graphics card that can smoothly display HD video on my Samsung TV so that I can watch recorded video and other content (youtube, etc.) with ease on my massive TV
