raptors are SATA and use much newer technology. the old SCSI HDD's are outdated and use older technology that might be slower than raptors

Just looked those solid state drives up, for 32gb, its $549. But the prices will drop real soon I bet. Than I will get one, plus they will proly become faster as prices drop.
