Default Screen Size

I want to know how to make the screen smaller. I don't mean the actual screen I mean the icons and stuf like thatI want them to be smaller, if anyone can be bothered to tell me how to do that it would be great, thanks.

You bump up the resolution to make it smaller, and lower it to make it bigger.

Most people use the 1024 x 768 resolution.

That's probably moved to 1280 x 1024 by now. Most people I know use that one. I'm just lucky and get to use 1600 x 1200.

I run 1280x1034 on everything I can't stand anything lower than that with my monitor.Don't have the chance for 1600x1200 though .

1280 by 1024 for me. Anything smaller looks bad to me.
