Default screen resolution

jsut installed a new hard drive after my old one crashed
now everything is working fine except my resolution. i cant get it any smaller then 640x480 i even booted into safe mode with no difference

please help

yes im sorry but i didnt know if ppl would read it udner proccesors so i moved it and no i dont have too much in my head but thank you

you want it SMALLER than 640x480?!?!

why??

dont know if it can go any smaller... (on xp at least)

I can't get mine that low either...........

Desktop icons must be huge at that resolution...........

lol I accidentally got my computer stuck on 320 x 240 one time after playing a really old game, u should have seen the size of those icons and you couldn't even see webpages because the toolbars took up the whole dang screen!
