i have a Canon Canoscan Lide 60 connected to my computer, but recently the canoscan toolbox that i use to scan documents started to not work (when i attempt to scan something, the program stops responding), so then i decided i would reinstall the whole device as if i just got it from the store. so i connect the scanner to my computer and the windows update couldnt find any drivers, so i decided to download and install my own, after doing all of tat the program still stops responding.
My question is how can i make it so that windows update DOES find the software, because thats happened before, i dont know why it cant find drivers anymore.
im using winodws 7 ultimate
EDIT: i got the drivers installed but now my second question is about the toolbox, heres a picture of what i mean
