Default Satellite vs. Inspiron

My boss just bequethed me his 15lb Dell Inspiron 7500. A friend is also passing his Toshiba Satellite 2805 S402 off to me as well. I guess I'm lucky. Can anyone tell me which is the better computer overall or any opinions they have. I need to use it for both work and home. I typically have Excel, Word, Outlook, Explorer and Acrobat Reader running at all times along with whatever the system runs in the background. Which is the better computer for overall performance, speed and connectivity? Any thoughts or experiences would help too. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

New Guy

Just looking at brief specs it looks like the Toshiba has a slightly faster processor. I lighter and probably the better laptop.

Besides the processor it also has more features. I would go with the Toshiba.

Yeah; the Toshiba would be the better option.
