SATA II Compatability

How can i tell if my motherboard is sata II compatible, or are all motherboards compatible with SATAII

i think it only supports sata looking at the intel website

Generally, the motherboard specs area should tell you if the motherboard will support SATA or SATA II.

get a sata2 pci controller card if you realy need sata2

If you put SATAII in your mobo, it will only have a speed of SATA...so it's useless. And the technology's new, so it's not worth to upgrade your comp right now
