I was helping my friend put his computer together and everything went find until I found out he bought a SATA Hard Drive instead of an IDE. His motherboard doesn't support SATA. So he had to run to the store and get this:
We installed that, then hooked up the SATA Cord from the Raid Controller to the Hard Drive. Then gave the Hard Drive the Power as well. So everything is hookup correctly to my knowledge. Then I go into "My Computer" to see if it recognizes the Hard Drive and it doesn't. Then I go into the "Device Manager" and its tells me it recognize both the Samsung HD and the Raid Controller. So now I'm confused. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
BTW, we do have his old HD as the Master, so this one is going to be a slave. Can anyone help?
