Default Sata Dvr????

My cox DVR has a SATA output on the back, dose that mean i can connect a HD to it???

Abit IP35-E Motherboard, 3Gig- corsair RAM
PNY 9800GTX+ 256MB DDR3 Video Card,
Core 2 Duo E4300 overclocked 2.2Ghz
SATA Western Digital 160Gig HD,
Windows 7, Dual 19" 1440x900 Monitors

Yeah. It's better than opening it up and messing with the built in HD. I just got my DVR, I have Dish Network, I wonder if mine has a SATA input port on it.

P4 2.4GHz, 1.5Gb, 40Gb.
PowerBook G4 867MHz, 1Gb, 60Gb.

Probably not actually. I lot of those ports are thrown in there "just in case" a future feature used it.
What's the model of the DVR?? This guy got it working with an Explorer 8300HD:
