SATA Card and HP Slimline

Hey everyone, I need some help! I am looking to buy a VIA 6421 SATA Card/chipset to put into my HP Slimline s3120n computer. If you guys can help me out here and tell me if this card will fit or better yet...WORK that would be awesome! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815124023
Im running on AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ 2.20 GHz with 2 gigs of RAM and a 32 bit OS.

If your talking about a low profile system, that won't fit as is.The end bracket is sized for a standard case and the low profile cards have a bracket roughly have that. It would work just fine, but it won't fit your card with the bracket they shot there. The card itself may even be a little big, but maybe not. Look for something that says low-profile and see what you can find.

ok thank you and does the HP Slimline take PCI express cards?

going by the specs, it looks like its got a pci-e x16 slot. So if you find a low profile card to fit your case you can. Most times it's hard to find anything high performance for low profile though.
