I have a ECS Motherboard and it take SATA drives.
Now in the BIOS every drive is set to PiO Mode Auto and UDMA Auto 23 Bit Transfer Rate
And they asked me if I had my SATA Dribves setup in any of the RAiD types.
I told them I have one SATA drive with my Win XP on it and two more SATA drives fore storage.
And they are all used as Single drives.
They told me the only way you will get SATA speeds is if you had them setup in a type of RAiD.
can anyone help is this right or does all motherboards work like this??
Because why buy SATA if they run at 133 MB iDE??????
