Samsung V25 power issue

Like many, I'm having real problems with my samsung V25 - It isn't getting any power.

I've checked the obvious, it's definately a power issue problem. Apparently I need to get a new motherboard, but I'd like to be sure first, as somebody said if you have a power problem with the V25, don't replace the motherboard. Unfortunately the forum this was on (I googled...) had been hacked so I am none the wiser.

Any input whatsoever would really be appreciated.

How difficult is it to replace a motherboard on your average laptop?

Replacing a laptop motherboard is probably an eight or nine on the difficulty scale. Laptops aren't really designed to be messed with by the end user. I suggest taking it to a certified repair shop. Otherwise, you run a good chance of messing something up in the process.
