I've got my display res set to 1440x900. Is this about right? I'm not sure, I think I remember the manual suggesting that for pc use.

I was wondering. Should I use that resolution when trying to run high end games?

If the game lags with that res, as I'm expecting Crysis to, what setting should I have it at?

Thanks for your help guys. Always appreciated!

I would use different resolutions till you find the one thats comfortable and with good fps.

With your card, you want to lower the res a lot in the games for high end games. That's the res I have for my 19" ws Acers, but only when in Windows, not when playing higher end games, though I don't play games much anyway.

There's one setting....something like 1280x768 or something like that. I think that would be perfect in terms of gaming/graphics for you. Just start low, and go higher until you're comfortable with it.

1280x1024 isn't widescreen, though. I meant 1024 x 768 is. :p

1024x768 isn't wide screen either. It's 4:3
1280x1024 is 5:4, which is what most standard LCDs are.
