does anyone have any type of suggested settings for a Samsung SyncMaster 943bwx? ive been trying to find the best possible settings for this monitor and couldnt find one yet.

If your video card supports it, set the resolution to 1440x900.

is that it though, like do i need to adjust any rightness or any of the other settings like that?i already got the max resolution right now

Well brightness and what not are really personal choice. Set the refresh rate to 60MHz.

I have my Acer 19" widescreen at 1440x900 @ 75Hz. As Joga pointed out, the brightness and other settings are more of a personal choice. Just play around with the settings. If you get them out of whack, it's easy enough to reset them to default.

I don't see why people are worried about whether their video card is good enough to run a monitor because I have found that if you have a dedicated video card from within the last 6 years it will do up to 2536x2536 or something like that. Integrated gfx on the other hand probably won't go higher than 1280x960 in the case of my dads computer.
