Question Is This Safe?

Hey everyone,
I was just wondering if it is safe to plug in your PSU to the wall, and nothing else, just to test it to see if it works? Will that damage the PSU at all, or should it be fine to do?
Thanks a lot,
Derek

Well it would turn on, right? The thing is, last time around, I got a faulty PSU, and it blew up. I just wanna make sure it will run before I plug it into the MoBo.
Thanks,
Derek

you mean like enough power? That shouldn't be a problem. Hm...has it not been working or is there a reason you want to test it..because you think it's gonna blow up.
