Default s-video out

i have a dell laptop with s-video out, how do i enable it to send it out to my tv

Usally there's an option in the display proporties. Also, try reading the manual :P

yeha, all u have to do (if its at or nvida) just right click on ur desktop, go to properties, then settings and then go to advanced and there should be a display option where u can switch to displays and stuff. of course, thats for ati so if u have nvnida i dont know. i hope their pretty much the same though... yeha.

I have ATI, nvidia, and SiS, and they all work much the same. Mpact is in just display proporties, but I seriously doubt you have that chipset unless you're laptop is old.

on my computer all i did was plug it straight in! connected the wire to a scart socket in the back of tv and that was it! it displayed fine!

why does my picture come out in black & white on the tv? the tv also doesn't get all my desktop in, i have to pan around the screen to find the best fit using my mouse on my laptop. i have done everything right but still no luck, i have ATI

hmmmm... thats wierd. check the quality and the settings for black anbd white...
