Default S/pdif??

my mobo has these outputs. and i guess there sound. theres coaxial and optical. im wondering if any of u guys would know which one will sound better

Either S/PDIF output will offer the same sound quality as they both send the same digital signal. So you can pretty much get whichever cable is cheaper or easier to find.

That looks like a good one.

Yes, you'll be able to use surround as the digital signal transmits full DTS and Dolby Digital surround.

really cuz my receiver has all that shit. i would never would have thought of that since its only one cable

Yea, if your sound card outputs surround sound, then your receiver can play it. Digital sound is cool.
