Running programs on startup

Hey
I was just wondering if there is any way to get a program to run when windows boots up if the program itself does not have a run on startup command, (I am using XP). Ive tried looking though the msconfig system configuration, but I could find no way to add programs to the start up list that werent already on there. Is it possible or am I wasting my time?

If you go start-programs-startup I believe you can copy the .exe file for the program there and it will start.

yep, just do that and it will startup everytime you boot windows.
