Exclamation Running 3 monitors, two main monitors from PCIE and the third from a cheap PCI card

Is it possible to run two cards at the same time via two different connectors.

for example i will use my 9800GT for gaming on my main two monitros While also running a third monitor from a cheap PCI slot card.

Overall achieving a 3 monitor output using 2 different cards.

Any idea where I can pick one up. Most are PCIE now !

Will this we worth it, VGA cards are very slow, will i be able to run things like videos ect easily from it ? (im not looking to play games from it obviously)

play video, surf the internet, regular stuff will be easily done with an old PCI graphics card.

3-d graphics would be a bit more difficult. if not impossible for a PCI card.

ebay would be a decent place to start looking. I can't say for sure what kind of resolution you'll be likely to get either. probably best to figure out the card that you;re looking at and do a google search on the model to see if you can find what resolution is supports.

and perhaps more importantly, what drivers are available for it!
