Run a DLL as an App Error

Every time I try to go to Add or Remove Programs, I get the Run a DLL as an App error message. How do I fix that?

no this computer has been around for 4 years and has had the same windows the whole time

well its possible that the dll is corrupt

Well I figured that much. How can I fix it?

the only time ive experienced dll error is when i installed windows, so thats y i asked. i had a scratch on the disk so i thought that mighta happened to u. if it's not too much of a hassle reformatting MIGHT help.

idk what else to do so hear what other people say cuz that should be a last resort.

do a windows repair with your windows xp disk
