Default run box

Hi all when i type something into my run box (ipconfig)it appears on the screen then disappears does anyone know why????

Once the command has completed, it closes the command prompt dialogue box automatically. If you want it to stay on the screen, type "cmd" and then, in the command prompt window, type the command you would like to execute.

in the run box type "cmd" then enter that will pull the DOS box up the way you are doing it just running and will not show the results.
