Default Run away curser

All of a sudden my curser went to the left of the screen like a magnet. I could move it all over, but it would quickly fly to the left. I couldn't do much of anything. After about two hours out of no where it became normal again.
I'm typing this now just in case it happens again I will know how to fix it. Thank you

Have you tried a different mouse? I have had this happen with a wireless mouse.

Yes, I tried another mouse and still had the problem. It was very difficult to click on things, and some areas the arrow buttons worked, but couldn't run a Defender scan.

You said the cursor but talk about the mouse pointer, 2 different things.

If it's the cursor, check to see if there's something on the keyboard or if the left arrow key is stuck down.

If it's the mouse pointer, try changing the settings for pointer speed, if that doesn't help, try reinstalling the mouse driver.

You could try reinstalling the mouse drivers.

Are you using a laptop with a "nipple mouse"?

(the little usually red of blue joystick type mouse in the middle of the G and H keys?)
