Hey,
I have a router that got given to me. I have an NTL connection using cable broadband. Now, how would I start to connect two PC's together using this?
The reason I want to do this is to connect 3D Studio Max up to more than 1 pc to speed up rendering times.
Is it just a case of getting the router, plugging it in. Gettng the main connection from the internet, and splitting it using the cables from the router? Or won't this allow me to do what I want?
I hope someone can help This type of computing confuses me
EDIT: I think I might of wrote this in wrong part... I'll correct in minute
