A component could be shoting too. I had that from an HP rebuilt. Check that out.

Well im just about to take everything out [cables/components & mobo] I know for a fact my heatsink isnt fully clipped down and is half loose so hoping its just that.

Will let you know how it goes *prays to god to let it work*

IT is that. Not fully in. You should install the heatsink before mounting the board. Avoids those kinds of problems.

yeah it seems it was the heatsink not clipped on properly. One of the clips was bent out of place which didnt impress me.

All sorted now, just going to install xp and see how it runs.
