Default retention frame and MCX6400-V

Heya, im having a bit of a problem installing my MCX6400-V from Swiftech.

My motherboard is GIGABYTE "GA-K8NS PRO", and it has a retention frame as seen here:

My heatsink can be seen here:

I know I have to take off the frame to install this heatsink, and I dont know how or if I even can without damaging the motherboard. Any advice would be awsome
