Default Resolution help

I got a new graphics card, the sapphire HD REDEON 5750. Whenever I start left for dead 2 the screen goes lack and my monitor says UNSUPPORTED!

Have you installed the drivers for the card yet? Try going into the options and setting the resolution down to the supported native resolution. Go into the ATI Catalyst controls and do it there IF you have it installed. If not, install it.

ATI CATALYST is installed. So if I change the resolution from there it should work? What's the difference if I change the resolution from properties or from ATI CATALYST?

You need to change the resolution in the game to whatever is the max supported by your monitor.

try uninstalling, reloading all sortware should be ok

You might have to start the game in safe mode (the game's safe mode, not Windows safe mode) in order to change the resolution within the game.
