Replacing Pentium M 1.5 with 2.0, possible?

I've got a IBM R40, which came with a Pentium M 1.5Ghz(Banias Core). I want to replace it with a Pentium M 2.0Ghz 755(Dothan Core).

It has the same 400mhz bus, but is 90nm and uses less power.

Will it still work in my R40 or will i have to go with the 1.8 Banias?

They're both socket 478, I don't see why not...
Are there any other opinions?

I looked it up, The chipset on the R40 supports it, but the bios does not.
