Default Replacing CPU heat sink/fan

My CPU fan is dieing on me and need to replace it. Will http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...IN#detailspecs fit onto my mother board http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...2E16813131024?
Have any other suggestions on a heat sink/fan?

Yup, the Cooler Master Hyper N520 will fit just fine on your ASUS M2V motherboard. It got a good review at FrostyTech.com. if you want to save yourself a few dollars, grab the XIGMATEK HDT-S963. It's easy to install and does an excellent job at keeping the CPU cool.

Thanks, I think I am going to go with the Cooler Master.

I guess just to verify what I meant by size, I was referring to the physical size, not the socket size. I am traveling right now so I don't have the ability to physically measure the space available in my tower. Still a beginner when it comes to computers.

which case do you have?

I think as long as it's a mid, you should be fine.
