Replacement Motherboard

Hey, a couple months ago my motherboard died on my computer. It was an Asus K8-Ne Deluxe and I have just recently decided to overcome this problem and replace it. I have an AMD Athalon 3400 CPU I believe. Its a socket 754. If anyone could recommend or help me find another motherboard that will make this replacement as easy as possible it'd be much appreciated. I am also interested in upgrading my video card so a motherboard that is compatible with my cpu and my RAM along with a PCI-e on it instead of my old AGP would be nice too. Thank you for your help.

You won't get PCI-E expansion on socket 754 motherboards. You'll have to move up to a socket 939 motherboard to get PCI-E.

I think you'll find socket 754 motherboards on eBay though.

yeah but does it matter which 754 I get. Meaning will my AMD CPU work and will my RAM be compatible along with the AGP ATI Video card I have?

Pretty much all socket 754 boards will support your CPU, memory and AGP video card. just check the specs of the board before purchasing.
