Get this back in place. The chjipset might not get appropriate cooling and if it overheats, bye bye motherboard.

THat is freaking funny. I never seen a video card get so hot where is begins to heat up the thermal paste on the Southbridge heatsink. THat is one for the record books. You might as well take it off when it's hot and clean the old stuff off and add new thermal compound to it. Doesn't matter what you use.
